Spectral flames swirl within the glass-like shells of these Pokémon, occasionally bursting out across parts of their bodies. These flames burn not only the body, but the soul itself until all that remains is a hollow, roasted shell to be fed upon.

Chandelsect are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients. Being consumed in Chandelsect's flame burns up the spirit, leaving the body behind.
