While its spines initially appear to be a leafy bush, they're actually hard as rocks. While it feasts on roots underground, these spines defend its personal space, as Caterslash are notoriously antisocial.

Caterslash climbs trees with ease, feeding on their leaves. If any unaware prey is below its tree, it will roll into a spiny ball and attack from above.

It curls up in a ball to protect itself from enemy attacks. Its voracious appetite compels it to devour leaves bigger than itself without hesitation.
