Cateretta are peaceful members of forest ecosystems. They sing warnings and other messages across the forest to protect other small, more vulnerable Pokémon. When it comes time to evolve, they will weave their hair into a cocoon around themselves.

Many famous songs have been inspired by the melodies that Meloetta plays. Its voracious appetite compels it to devour leaves bigger than itself without hesitation.
