When a Catertung spots something it wants to eat, it will launch a tongue-like wad of sticky silk to grab it. Catertung's feeding ground can easily be identified by the sticky silk on every surface.
Whenever it sees something unfamiliar, it always licks the object because it memorizes things by texture and taste. Its voracious appetite compels it to devour leaves bigger than itself without hesitation.
