The first Carking was discovered sleeping deep within a mine, surrounded entirely by large formations of precious minerals. When it became active, it consumed large portions of precious minerals and eventually fell asleep again.

Hordes of Carking gather around trees when fruits come into season. Born from the high temperatures and pressures deep underground, it defends itself by firing beams from the jewel part of its body.
