The gemstones on a Carith's body are of great value, but break if forcibly taken from them. Once every hundred years, it will drop the gemstones in a molt-like fashion, to then grow new ones. They can become about a million years old.
It was resurrected from a fossil using the power of science. Born from the high temperatures and pressures deep underground, it defends itself by firing beams from the jewel part of its body.
