Cacshrew tunnel beneath arid deserts to eat cactus roots and drink from underwater reservoirs. They rarely come to the surface because everything they need to survive is underground, so many Cacshrew are startled by bright lights.
When it curls up in a ball, it can make any attack bounce off harmlessly. Cacshrew live in deserts with virtually no rainfall.
