Butterow swarm together in their brief breeding seasons, forming great clouds over their forest homes. When disturbed by other Pokémon they will turn aggressive and use their wing scales to coat the interloper with toxins.
Its loud cry can be heard over half a mile away. It has a superior ability to search for delicious honey from flowers.
