The top of Bulbader's shell contains chloroplasts that aid in photosynthesis. When sand collects in their shells, they use it to grow plants and leave them along the shore.
At night, it burrows a hole in the seafloor with its broad tongue to make a place to sleep. POKENAME can be seen napping in bright sunlight.
