Bulbamander has to be careful not to accidentally burn its bulb with the flame on its tail. If that happens, it can take weeks for the bulb to grow back.
Bulbamander naps during the day to absorb more sunlight. When night falls, it uses the flame on its tail to replicate sunlight, giving it energy to walk.
The flame that burns at the tip of its tail is an indication of its emotions. Bulbamander can be seen napping in bright sunlight.
