Birantis are prideful of their chosen troupe, often consisting of wild Pokémon that swear fealty. The sharpening of their many blades is done by the Pokémon that make up their troupe, with the quality of the sharpening determining rank.

It requires a lot of effort to maintain Birantis's vivid coloring, but some collectors enjoy this work and treat it as their hobby. Birantis pursues prey in the company of a large group of Pawniard.
