When Bayper get older, they bury themselves in muddy, fertile soil and become dormant. From the shoots on the side of their head two Chikoper grow, genetically identical to each other. Bayper then emerges from the mud and promptly evolves.
Bayper usually live in water but come out onto land seeking food occasionally. A Bayper's neck is ringed by curled-up leaves.
