Despite being a buoyant floatation aid, the gigantic ball at the end of the tails of Azusaur are extremely bulky and cumbersome. Azusaur carry the ball on their back in an effort to avoid getting caught on roots and vines.

Azusaur's flower is said to take on vivid colors if it gets plenty of nutrition and sunlight. Its tail, which is packed with nutrition, is very bouncy like a rubber ball.
