All Venuwear have an unexplainable incessant parental instinct, resulting in them taking care of almost any helpless Pokémon they find. There have even been several cases of humans that were raised by Venuwear.

Although Besaur aren't very heavy, almost all of their weight comes from the short bulb-shaped tail on their backs. This uneven distribution of weight causes Besaur to have terrible speed and stamina.

Despite their friendly behavior, Besaur are often seen as a farmer's bane. These Pokémon use Poison Powder to protect their nest, almost always ruining the land around them as they rest.
