The metal composing this Pokémon's body is still soft, so it uses static electricity to gather the shed fur of other Pokémon into a coat for warmth. It is sometimes found stuck to the thick coats of larger Pokémon, like Mamoswine.

Wild Magnerunt enjoy clinging to veins of magnetic ore running through the walls and ceilings of certain caves, as well as the undersides of metal bridges. Travelers in these areas must take care, as this inexperienced climber loses its grip often.
