When Amakoal is blowing out smoke, it sometimes blows out chunks of ice along with it. It uses ice cubes as its energy source to prevent itself from melting in high temperatures.
It battles using energy it gets from burning coal. This ancient Pokémon was restored from part of its body that had been frozen in ice for over 100 million years.
