By dragging the staff held in its soft tail along the ground, Amaxen is able to produce vivid, colorful flames. Scientists recently revived this Pokémon after unearthing its crystallized fossils buried beneath many layers of ice and snow.
When the twig is plucked from its tail, friction sets the twig alight. This ancient Pokémon was restored from part of its body that had been frozen in ice for over 100 million years.
