If startled, Sandywig crumbles into a pile of sand, only reforming once it feels secure. Sandywig cries nonstop if the coconut on its back cracks, making its body soggy until the shell is fixed.
Made from soil, the shell on its back hardens when it drinks water. It likes the shovel on its head, so Sandywig will get serious and fight any children who come to take it back.
