Sandnat hides in the sand, detecting the slightest vibrations in the sand with its sensitive hairs. It hates getting wet and will roll around in the sand to get any moister out of its fur.
Its coat of thin, stiff hair that covers its entire body is said to have evolved for protection. When it curls up in a ball, it can make any attack bounce off harmlessly.
