Sablskit live on damp cave walls, not slipping thanks to the sticky oil they secrete from the ends of their legs. They won't move unless disturbed, pretending to be gemstones until the very last moment before scattering in fear.
They gather on puddles after evening downpours, gliding across the surface of water as if sliding. It digs branching holes in caves using its sharp claws in search of food--raw gems.
