Sablsparce uses its tail to dig in search of its favorite food of gemstones. When it finds a large deposit of them, Sablsparce makes a nest so it can slowly feast on the stones.

Sablsparce break off chunks of jeweled caverns to build into their armor, Unfortunately, their tendency to eat crystals from their armor as a snack results in them frequently needing to find new material.

Its drill-tipped tail is used to burrow into the ground backwards. It digs branching holes in caves using its sharp claws in search of food--raw gems.
