Using their bulky tails and their muscular forelimbs, Rhysaur create tremors to knock loose fruits, berries, and nuts in trees. They use their horn drills to access the sap and water within trees, though they can easily puncture solid rock as well.

Rhysaur's flower is said to take on vivid colors if it gets plenty of nutrition and sunlight. It puts rocks in holes in its palms and uses its muscles to shoot them.
