Quagllery spits an ink-and-mud mixture at any passersby, emitting a loud cry once the blob impacts its target. At first it was thought to be territorial behavior, but apparently this is actually considered a friendly greeting for Quagllery.

It ensnares its foe with its suction- cupped tentacles before delivering the finishing blow. A Quagllery hunts by leaving its mouth wide open in water and waiting for its prey to blunder in.
