When a Quagpie evolves into Quagpod, it burrows into a pile of mud and coats itself in a shell while its body decomposes into a gooey liquid. Its hard outer shell keeps this liquid safe as it reconstructs its body to evolve.
Its shell is as hard as an iron slab. A Quagpod hunts by leaving its mouth wide open in water and waiting for its prey to blunder in.
