Poliduo's twin heads move independently of one another, bobbing around to help them see with proper depth perception. They tuck their heads close to their body when they run to minimise jostling as they race across the landscape.

Even while eating or sleeping, one of the heads remains always vigilant for any sign of danger. Its body surface is always wet and slick with an oily fluid.
