Intelligent and possessing a regal disposition, Polikazam places itself as the king of ponds and swamps. When not imparting wisdom to young Water types, it spends much of its time preening its mustache to perfection befitting royalty.

While it has strong psychic abilities and high intelligence, an Polikazam's muscles are very weak. The curled hair on its head proves its status as a king.
