When in groups, Pidby will compete with each other to see which one can produce the biggest flame. Many try as hard as they can, but most can only make enough fire to light a few sticks.

If a Pidby is spouting yellow flames from its mouth, it is in good health. It has an extremely sharp sense of direction.
