With its small wings, Pidgetle flies over the rivers it inhabits to make sure no danger threatens itself or its group. The shell covering its back and abdomen sometimes hinders its maneuvers, so it often chooses to swim instead.
Its shell is not just for protection. This Pokémon flies around, patrolling its large territory.
