The immense mushroom on Paradon's head never seems to be harmed by the harsh sunlight it creates. The spores it scatters into the dry air seem to thrive in dry conditions that would kill most other fungi.

Paradon has appeared in mythology as the creator of the land. Paradon are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients.
