Omamie are supposedly abundant in ocean depths due to the fact that a new one can grow from a piece of a different Omamie. They use their bioluminescent skin to lure prey and capture them with their long tentacles when they draw near.

People in ancient times imagined that Omamie were transformed from the reflections of stars that twinkled on gentle waves at night. An Omamie uses its tentacles to capture its prey.
