Octidra uses its large mouth to create a powerful whirlpool that suctions prey in the ocean towards it. Once it has built enough energy by sleeping, it can spit streams of ink with enough force to knock even a Dragonite from the sky.

It sleeps quietly, deep on the seafloor. It ensnares its foe with its suction- cupped tentacles before delivering the finishing blow.
