Due to the Nidoran families having large groups and constantly intermingling, Nidoran is a less uncommon fusion to spy in the wild. It often seems to act as a mediator between younger members of both species.
The male Nidoran has developed muscles that freely move its ears in any direction. Its highly toxic barbs are thought to have developed as protection for this small-bodied Pokémon.
