Nidomander lives in small forest clearings, where it cooperates with others of its kind to gather food. When storms rage, they cluster together to shield each other and protect their tail flames from the rain.
The flame that burns at the tip of its tail is an indication of its emotions. Its highly toxic barbs are thought to have developed as protection for this small-bodied Pokémon.
