The less light energy Necroetta has, the slower and weaker its dancing and singing abilities become. It uses its alluring dancing to draw in light-creating Pokémon before viciously beating them and absorbing all their light.

Many famous songs have been inspired by the melodies that Meloetta plays. Light is apparently the source of its energy.
