Each segment making up Metapede's body contains its own solid-state drive acting as a brain. Each drive mirrors a fraction of another segment's drive so that no data is lost if a segment becomes separated from the whole body.
Highly aggressive, it uses the claws near its neck to dig into its opponents and poison them. Metapede has four brains that are joined by a complex neural network.
