It is not uncommon for Manbite's dorsal fin to be confused with Sharpedo's from a distance when it breaks over the water's surface. Despite that, Manbite is friendly and will curiously swim up to nearby ships.
There is a long-held belief that medicine made from its scales will heal even incurable illnesses. On sunny days, schools of Manbite can be seen elegantly leaping over the waves.
