Rumor has it a Magneton fell into a withered Tangela and became this Pokémon. Two of the Magneton parts died off, getting separated in the vines.
Assembled from clusters of tangled-up and worn-out wires, Magnegela release stray sparks when they try to focus their magnetic powers. They attempt to construct satellite bodies to help channel their powers, but none have succeeded so far.
Its vines snap off easily and painlessly if they are grabbed, allowing it to make a quick getaway. It is actually three Magnemite linked by magnetism.
