In cyberspace, Lycangon appears in games to seek tough foes and exploits their differing code. Outside cyberspace, its card-like appearance lulls foes into a false sense of security before it leaps out of the frame, attacks, and retreats to safety.

It is capable of reverting itself entirely back to program data in order to enter cyberspace. It goads its enemies into attacking, withstands the hits, and in return, delivers a headbutt, crushing their bones with its rocky mane.
