When the Moon reaches its closest point to Earth, Klireon's gears spin rapidly, absorbing energy that sustains it for weeks. As the Moon moves farther away, its gears gradually slow, leaving Klireon increasingly sluggish until the next perigee.

Klireon evolved from exposure to the moon's energy pulses. Interlocking two bodies and spinning around generates the energy they need to live.
