While the keys which jut from Kleftoise's back are too large to unlock any human-made locks, it is common for Kleftoise to attempt to insert their keys into the hole in the back of another Kleftoise. If they fit, the two will be lifelong friends.
The waterspouts that protrude from its shell are highly accurate. It never lets go of a key that it likes, so people give it the keys to vaults and safes as a way to prevent crime.
