Kakeon are unable to swim because of their tough cocoon, so they wobble at the bottom of lakes and rivers until they evolve. Their long tails make them appear larger than they are, which scares predators away.
Kakeon underwent a spontaneous mutation and grew fins and gills that allow them to live underwater. It remains virtually immobile while it clings to a tree.
