What appears to be Jynplume's hair are actually root-like tendrils it uses to ensnare victims from afar. Once constricted, they are subjected to Jynplume's breath, which is both toxic and capable of freezing a person solid.

In seasons when it produces more pollen, the air around a Jynplume turns yellow with the powder as it walks. A Jynplume sashays rhythmically as if it were dancing.
