Named for its astonishing leaps, Jumper launches itself skyward with its small but powerful legs. Each bound can carry it nearly a kilometre, sometimes farther in cold weather, which mysteriously boosts the strength of its springy muscles.
Jumper usually live in water but come out onto land seeking food occasionally. Jumper ride warm southern winds to cross the sea and fly to foreign lands.
