Joltfarig has a naturally wiry brown coat. During storms, Joltfarig stands outside, waiting to get hit by lightning, which builds its energy and yellows its fur. Because the head is struck first, it is yellower on that end of its body.

A Joltfarig is an herbivore--it eats grass and tree shoots. Its cells generate weak power that is amplified by its fur's static electricity to drop thunderbolts.
