Hounkern buries itself near water, and seems to grow the most at night. If it senses danger, it will communicate with howls only other Hounkern can understand.
Hounkern try to minimize movement to conserve the nutrients they have stored in their bodies for evolution. Hounkern communicate with each other using a variety of cries to corner their prey.
