As it flies, Ho-bell expels a sweet, rainbow-colored nectar to lure prey to its waiting pitcher maw. Once it has eaten enough, it fires a powerful rainbow Solar Beam into the sky that leads to sunshowers in the area for a month.
The long vine extending from its head is waved about as if it were a living thing to attract prey. Its feathers--which glow in seven colors depending on the angle at which they are struck by light--are thought to bring joy.
