Although Ho-no cannot see, it loves running around and biting things. Its bright feathers shimmer in a multitude of colors, placing smiles on the faces of all who watch it.
They cannot see, so they tackle and bite to learn about their surroundings. Its feathers--which glow in seven colors depending on the angle at which they are struck by light--are thought to bring joy.
