Gooagon create a protective helmet out of solidified mucus to help protect them as they launch off of cliffs in attempts to fly. Luckily, their bodies are rather gelatinous, helping them to cushion the blow if their angle is off.
Although it is small, this Pokémon is very powerful because its body is a bundle of muscles. Its source of protection is its slimy, germ-laden mucous membrane.
