Gliper lurks beneath the surface of the water, waiting for unsuspecting Pokémon to come and drink. It then launches itself out of the water, puts its gills, which produce a mild fast-acting nerve agent, into their mouth, allowing Gliper to feed.
Gliper usually live in water but come out onto land seeking food occasionally. It glides without making a single sound.
