Glaeye's claws are clad in many layers of solid ice to further reinforce them, allowing them to easily cut through solid rock in search of minerals to eat. It maintains the ice on its body with a freezing gas it produces within its gut.
It digs branching holes in caves using its sharp claws in search of food--raw gems. A Glaeye has the power to instantaneously freeze moisture in the atmosphere.
